This edition of ETS Research Spotlight summarizes three recent publications that exemplify ETS research into the kinds of assessment innovations needed to meet the challenges of improving reading proficiency in grades K-12. The first publication covered is an article that appeared earlier in 2012 in the journal Reading Psychology. The other publications comprise a two-volume book series covering innovations in the theory and practice of measuring reading comprehension.

Hi. i am very anxious about my IBT TOEFL score which is 91, the reading score is 28, though. But my SAT subject score is 2370. In order to gain 100% guarantee to accept to M.I.T do i have to take the toefl again? is it eligible to get financial aid? thnx
Migrant PISA: Migrant PISA scores by nation of origin were computed by n-weighting the PISA 2003 math, PISA 2006 science, PISA 2006 reading, PISA 2009 math, and PISA 2009 reading scores presented in Levels, et al. (2008), Dronkers, et al. (2011), Dronkers, et al. (2012b), Dronkers, et al. (2012a), and Dronkers and Kornder, N. (2013). References are given in the excel file.

In July 2012 the Director of GMAT/TOEFL programs (on campus) where added to his responsibilities which included the marketing, pricing, and selling of the face-to-face versions of these programs. Teaching responsibilities include case studies review and reading strategies to corporate clients as Cummins, JAFRA, Morinaga Foods, BP, U of Chile, Goretex, SK, DENSO, CBSD, INAX, and NOMURA Research Institute. He developed an online TOEFL program (originally for GM now for open for any clients) and developed an online GMAT program.
